An EICR tells you whether an installation is safe to keep using. We inspect and test every circuit, then give you a plain-English report with the faults coded and priced — not a list of jargon designed to sell you a rewire you do not need.
Landlords in England must have a satisfactory EICR every five years and at the change of tenancy. We turn reports around quickly and, if there is remedial work, we quote it separately so you can shop around.

Reports are carried out to BS 7671:2018 + Amendment 4:2026. Private landlords in England are required to hold a satisfactory EICR under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020, renewed at least every five years.

How often do I need an EICR?
Rented homes in England: at least every five years and at change of tenancy. Owner-occupied homes: every ten years is the usual recommendation, or before selling.
What do the codes mean?
C1 is danger present (fix now), C2 is potentially dangerous (fix soon), C3 is improvement recommended, FI means further investigation. Only C1 and C2 make a report unsatisfactory.
